Research Fellowship

Research Fellowship

The Multifamily Impact Council Research Fellowship provides graduate-level students and early career professionals with hands-on experience in multifamily housing, social impact investing, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) entrepreneurship. Through these experiences, fellows can also become familiar with building their knowledge of industry-specific impact standards and reporting guidelines.

Fellows gain firsthand access to seeing how private capital can be mobilized at scale to solve critical social and environmental challenges, specifically in the multifamily housing industry. Additionally, they will work alongside MIC industry experts to establish common principles around impact goals, standards, and performance for multifamily properties. This will serve as an exemplary framework for the future of impact investing in the multifamily housing sector.

This research fellowship will provide ample benefits for fellows to become knowledge experts in impact analysis and research and manage investor-entrepreneur relationships.
