Belveron Partners is seeking a talented Acquisitions and Investments Summer Associate. Belveron Partners is a privately held investment firm focused on preserving affordable and workforce housing across the United States.
Responsibilities include:
• Taking ownership of a summer-long project and seeing it through from inception to completion
• Analyzing and underwriting potential real estate acquisitions using Belveron financial models
• Preparing investment memos and related documents; participating in investment committee meetings
• Reviewing and understanding legal documents
• Coordinating and evaluating third-party due diligence reports
• Assisting in firm-wide initiatives as needed
Preferred Background and Skills:
• 2+ years of relevant work experience (real estate investing, private equity, investment banking, economic development, public finance)
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in affordable housing or real estate investment
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a focus on real estate financial modeling
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Highly analytical and motivated person with a desire to learn
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Progress towards a Master’s degree required
